Symposium Registration
The 12th WIOMSA Scientific Symposium is jointly organised by WIOMSA, the Sustainable Seas Trust (SST), and the Nairobi Convention.
It will be held in Nelson Mandela Bay (Eastern Cape, South Africa) on 10th-15th October 2022 as a hybrid virtual and in-person symposium.

The WIOMSA Scientific Symposium is the premier regional scientific event on the coastal and marine environment. The aim of the WIOMSA Symposium is to showcase insightful and inspiring presentations on the latest research results and key developments in the Western Indian Ocean region. The next WIOMSA Symposium will be held in 2025. Registration will open in December 2024.
